Subsequently, she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the New York University College of Dentistry. Thereafter, she completed the General Practice Residency (GPR) program at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Following her education, Dr. Shiao completed two years training in an implant program at the New York University College of Dentistry. Born in Taiwan and growing up in Los Angeles, California, Yi-Ling Shiao, DDS, FICOI, attended the New York University College of Dentistry in New York, and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2005. Then, she served her general practice residency (GPR) at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. In addition, she completed a two-year training program in implantology at the New York University College of Dentistry, followed by a two-year training program in orthodontics sponsored by IAO/AOS. Dr. Shiao is a member of American Dental Association, the Second District Dental Society, the New York State Dental Association, the International Association of Orthodontics, the New York Academy of Oral Rehabilitation, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
